Hotel: grandish. Hotel bar: spectacular

One of two grandish Portland hotels, but the rooms don't live up to the lobby or the attempt to make it sound spectacular by adding the word 'Park" to the name. Top of the East, however, is a rooftop lounge that is super gay-friendly and provides spectacular 360 degree views of ocean and mountains. Don't miss it.

Coming from a much larger city, with room rates up to $400 a night off season... I was very impressed with Eastland Park Hotel. Our room was almost the size of my apartment. It was well polished, and the bed was very comfortable.
